Polisher

The Polisher is designed to enhance the visual quality of fresh vegetables by gently cleaning and polishing their outer surface. By removing dust, loose soil, and minor surface imperfections, it helps produce look cleaner and more appealing before packing or further processing.

The system uses a rotating drum fitted with durable nylon brushes. Produce enters through the infeed chute and moves through the drum while the brushes rotate around it. As the vegetables travel forward, they are softly rubbed against the brushes and against each other, creating an effective polishing action. Integrated spray bars apply fresh and/or reused water inside the drum to improve cleaning performance while keeping water use under control.

The Polisher can be supplied in painted mild steel or stainless steel construction, depending on hygiene needs and operating conditions. Contact areas such as the infeed, outfeed, and covers can be provided in stainless steel for improved corrosion resistance and easy cleaning, while key internal components are built for long-term durability.
